Healthcheck Payload quick start

payload below is the initialized server-side Payload instance; the health package does not create it. In an ESM server or script:

import config from "@payload-config";
import { createHealthManager } from "@nexload-sdk/healthcheck";
import { payloadHealthCheck } from "@nexload-sdk/healthcheck-payload";
import { getPayload } from "payload";
const payload = await getPayload({ config });
const health = createHealthManager({
service: { name: "cms" },
checks: [payloadHealthCheck(payload, {
collection: "users",
limit: 1,
depth: 0,
})],
});
const report = await health.run("readiness");
console.log(report.status, report.checks[0]?.status);
// ok ok

Use an existing, inexpensive collection. A successful empty result is healthy unless expectedMinDocuments is set. Read the Core quick start for manager scopes. If the query fails, times out, or does not meet a minimum count, use Troubleshooting.
